Just finished packing up the tailer/truck. Tomorrow I will fuel up give both of them a bath and will be leaving around 4 Saturday morning.

Talking about strange things that give you goose bumps.
As I topped the hill yesterday at Triple Tree, I saw the porta toilets had been delivered and I knew it was here. “The Nall” The Campers of the guys and gals that always show up early to help us get ready for The Nall are here and the fun has started. More work than flying right now but never the less it is “The Nall”. Time to honor a lost friend and meet some new ones.

So hurry up and get here we have plenty of prep work to do and let the fun begin.

Remember the Kick Off Party at the Lower Field Wednesday Night. Tom and Joe are putting this event on and all of the proceeds go back to the CAF to help support the growth you see here each year.

if the progress on the plane goes as planned, i will drive down on monday and stay overnight an hour or so away and then be at triple tree on Tuesday morning sometime. i am not camping since I am not set up for it. a friend an I will stay in hotel we have resered. but i plan on crashing peoples tents and set ups to chit chat quite a bit.

i really do believe i will finish it. it is covered now and i will put on coat of white paint on cowl that i just sanded. probably won't have many decals on it when i come down as my hobby shop just will not have the time to make all of them yet. no matter, i just want to fly. haven't flown since last august but it doesn't take me but a flight or two to get dialed in again. i will be huking it in now time since i did upgrade to the big 2.4.

will be nice to talk to all of you great people i have talked to or read articles from on the giants.

Ok, the "toy hauler" with some of my best toy's are on the Hi-way heading East. The toys are being driven ther by World Famous Rick Adams! He swears that he is only going to drive 50 miles per hour as to get the most out of his diesel powerd truck! He will be sleeping in the back with the Toys as he gets worn out from driving. He hopes to get to the Nall sometime on Monday/Tueaday.
Here is what I am brining:

MD-11 (turbine)
50% J-3 (3W)
50% Edge 540 (3W)
CompArf Tuccana (turboprop)


That is all the room I had, otherwise I would have brought more. Oh yeah, brining my AerowWorks elelctric profile Extra and a DW foamy. Should have fun. I have my buddy box cable and a spare 9C so some selected people can fly my planes too!
