This is not intended to be critical. I am just thinking out loud as if I were involved in a project this large. With two flight lines, the lake and the foamy flying, do you see an issue with running out of channels that some of the spread spectrum systems operate on? Will there be a protocol to address someone at the flight line with a system that will not "lock on" due to traffic? Will they forfeit their place in line or just wait for open air?

Again, just thinking out loud.

I would also like to echo other comments already made. Last year was my first at the Nall with my wife. We are stoked about coming back again this year. I will be happy to abide by any rules for such an event as I feel very fortunate to even have the opportunity to come and participate in an event like this. Thank you in advance for the great hospitality and good times to be had by all.

I am all in favor of trying to make things better and for change in general however I think the new flight line rules might make this 2 events vs one. After reading all the posts I understand all the points made and they all have merit. Personally I enjoy the Nall as much for the social aspect which allows me to see and talk to friends from a variery of places.

I thought about this very thing. let's see, if everyone at all 3 flight lines were flying spektrum, thats 7 + 7 + maybe 2 or 3 float flyers...looks like you could still have a swarm of foamies!

This is going to be a GREAT year for Nall,if you get tired of flying the 3D line you can walk up to the scale line and get you fill there too.I think that some of you are looking to Deep into this thinkink about the negative side of things instead of looking at the whole picture. This will open up the amount of flying that can be had at either flightline to DOUBLE you're chances to fly. my$.02

I think some of the posters in this thread need to be reminded of how generous Pat Hartness and the entire Triple Tree crew is for opening up their property and spending boatloads of cash each year for our benefit. This is a one of a kind first class event, and like them or not, the rules were designed not only to keep things safe but to make future events there possible. If you think any of the rules or procedures are "unfair" or "inconvenient" then stay home and enjoy yourself at your home field where you are free to do whatever you want. Thank you Pat, Carol, Laura, and the rest of the dedicated TT crew. Your hard work and dedication is not only recognized but very much appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you in May!

I believe according to the 2.4 folks 2.4 is the latest and greatest and will NEVER have a problem. Just turn on your radio and start flying and hope it works.

This is looking back towards the old flight line. There are some great camping spots down here next to the river.
