Howdy to every one from Triple Tree!!

Well tonight we finally got the mail outs done. They are going in the snail mail on Monday. Please check back here and I will have all the forms down loaded Monday also. If you have registered in the last 2 years as a pilot you will be getting the mail out.


We are going to be running two flights lines this year. Down near the new tower a new gazebo and bath house is being built and should be completed by the Joe Nall.

Any question, please feel free to PM me or ask them here. I will check in here daily.

I do not know all the details in how this will work. The second flight line will be down by the tower for what I think is going to be 3d flying. As soon as I get the details I will let you know.

very true. 3d should be at the main place put the warbirds down on the far end!!!!

wow. Last I checked, most of the headline pilots fly 3D and jets. Additionally, most normal pilots will bring a couple 3D birds and maybe a scale bird. That leads to the question, where to pit? definitely no reason for me to bring a plane....

For better or worse, Mr. Gregory has asked me to get on and address this thread...

If you were at last year's Joe Nall, you know how congested it is getting. If we have had one overiding concern from our participants, it has been the problems mixing 3D flying with everyone else. Additionally, we are hearing more and more from pilots that they don't get enough chances to
fly.

The new flight line, we think, will address both of these problems.

Here at the Giants, we tend to become a little bit "3D centric". Like it or not, 3D does not represent the majority in the scope of model aviation and the Joe Nall is here to cater to all RC flyers.

The Joe Nall letter and registration forms are now available on http://www.joenall.com. If you have registered in the last 3 years, you will probably receive this package by snail mail.

Every effort is being made to make the new flight line as inviting as the existing line. A new pavilion (that will put the old gazebo to shame) is under construction. Restrooms and shower facilities are also planned.

Obviously, for this to work, the new flight line will be 2.4 ghz only. And, to clarify, the new flight line will not be 3D only, but we are asking if you plan to fly 3D that you use this flight line.

We at the Joe Nall have always tried to be proactive. Not only as to safety concerns, but to the enjoyment and success of all aspects of such an event. Will there be some "teething" problems with the new set-up? Probably. Some logistics are still being worked out, but we feel that, all things considered, that we are moving in the right direction.
