That sounds like a great Idea!! I have been itching to build something but college and my house have prevented me from doing so. I'll be there!!

The Valkyre plans are printed now. It took 65 feet of paper 36 inches wide, and that's just the ribs and wing. The work bench is next on the list.

Hello Rope Man,I think it it's an incredible project that you have selected. I am new to flying giants , new to rc airplanes , but have considerable experience in boat building and maintenance . I've sold my last boat, a 46ft. wooden pilot house trawler and presently have a great deal of sandpaper left on hand from this boat's maintenance work . So if you can tell me what grits of sandpaper might be valuable in the project, I will gather what I can and bring them to Joe all when I come up to the meeting . Also since I've never been to this event please give me some idea of how to find you at this site. My e-mail address is skipper_gr @msn.com .

Thank you for the support. Last night it made up 16 dual grit sanding blocks. But a little bit of this and a little bit of that extra sandpaper will always be handy. The project is in the airplane hanger so it want be hard to find. I feel everyone that participates in this project will get a lot of satisfaction out of it.

It was looking great while I was there. I wish I had more time to spend on it while I was down there!
