Just plug them into any open channel on your RX, that's what I and many others do.

The only thing that Im stuck on is this. Bob said that hooking up 2 regs will cause 1 pack to draw more than the other..this could be only a little more or a lot more..Worst case is that you will only get the flight time of 1 pack even though you have 2 of them..The only other option is to run a single reg into the rx but to me that kind of defeats the purpose of have a redundant system..I guess you have to decide if you want the protection from a shorted pack or the safety of have a second reg..both types of failures seem to be pretty rare as Ive never read about either happening

Well, I think that's where the BatShare comes in. It causes equal drain. I also ordered his regulator which has two leads.

After some more reading on this I found out that if you are using 2 separate regs, they will isolate each pack from a short because they each have a diode in them...Essentially doing what the Batshare does without adding the single point of failure..AS far as the regs draining un-equally, as long as you have the regs adjusted to the same voltage, this should be minimal..

i use two batteries with no extensions, going into two switches, with two plugs going into the reciever. to this date after seven years of flying gassers i have never had a radio glitch or failure!!! personally, i think, when you add stuff to a simple system, there is something else to go wrong.

back six or seven years ago i had a 33% sukhoi with a da 100 (when they first came out) that was running one battery with a whole 1100mah. back then we didnt have the good servos of today and the reliability of the current systems.

when i lose a plane to this setup i will go to a different method. as of now i am not switching for anyone.
