Default Which A123 Batteries are Compatible with the Cellpro charger?

Which A123 Batteries are Compatible with the FMA Cellpro charger? I am wanting to try A123 but I want to be able to use my cellpro's afterall they have A123 settings on them. What batteries are you using for these chargers?

I have the cell pro 4s charger and bought two A123, 2300 batteries from Sin City Jets already setup for the cell pro charger, simple and easy too use.

If you have any questions Chad is more than willing to answer them for you, he even called me at home to make sure I got what I was looking for.....great to talk too.

Huck,

how many amps do you want. We are starting production of our 2S2P now. We will have some ready after the New Year. Let me know if I can help you out with something.

Why do you need more amps??? They are capable of 60 amps already, and two 2300's in a 100cc bird will last for several, several, several flights, and they will last several, several flights even on a 150cc bird. Speaking from experience and doing my own testing, a properly set up 100cc plane with 8 servos only uses about 325 mah per 10 minute flight, mixing 3D, high energy aerobatics, and precision. So with 4600mah (about 4,000 of that is usable), you are good for at least 10 flights...do you really need more than that? If so, you can fast charge them in a matter of minutes.

I dont know. I was thinking of running them in a 100cc plane. Would I need regulators? I am guessing not.
I was wanting like a 5200 or a 4800 mah pack for my setup that I want. Are you guys going to be having the 5200's?

Thanks,

Hmm....

Don't confuse mah ratings with amp ratings....

The reason everyone was going with high mah rated Li-Ion's and NiCD's was to get the continuous discharge rating, i.e. the number of amps the pack could continously discharge. In order to get sufficient amperage, you had to go with much larger mah rated cells.

These A123's will put out more amperage than Li-Po's. So you don't need those 4800 or 5200 rated packs. A pair of A123's will put out more power than you need...

edit info:

I guess that might be a bit confusing, I mean a pair of 2SA123 packs, not just 2 cells although a single 2 cell pack would power your model, it'd probably be a bit short on flight time.

And as I said, it will yield over a dozen flights at 4600 mah.
