Default Re: Weatronics Dual RX for Dummies

well i first tested it in my 50cc double vision - the results were great and now i will put it in a 37.5 yak - i should test it after the end of Feb as i am out of town only back home on the 28th and then do the installation but i am so impressed with the response time etc that i will not even hesitate to put it in my new yak

Has anyone heard if Weatronic plans to add a dual RX with 2.4 support (Spektrum, Futaba or otherwise...)

Default Re: Weatronics Dual RX for Dummies

I see this thread is a little dead - maybe we can revive it a bit.

I have started using Weatronic on my larger airplanes and I love them. The only regret I have now that I have one is that I didn't spring for the GPS one as the data would be very cool to see.

I am running the latest update which makes the RX 12 channels.

I am wondering if anyone has any data they can share? I'd like to compare the signal strength I am getting with some other data. I have had no hits in the air or any isues at all. I am running in PPM mode with a throttle failsafe set. I have one whip antenna and one normal running outside the airplane.

I'm not sure how to interpret the signal strength numbers. I get between 0.63 (standing right next to the airplane) and the worst I have seen is 0.21 in the air. That would be at the far end of the field way up high.

Anyone have a file they'd be willing to upload?

I looked at Kiwi's ground data and it looks about the same... but it would be nice to see some in-flight data
