3 to 4 10min.-12min. flights. This depends on how much you use the servos. I would check the batteries on the 3 flight just to play it safe.

Spend $30 on a voltage tester and you will never have to guess.

I would guess 6 flights 14 minutes each minimum and maybe around 10 14 minute ones on average

1650Mah on the receiver? You're out on your mind!

Thats not being out of your mind. Its NIMH and many batteries like it can supply enough current.

But he did say he had 2 1650 batteries so that makes 3300mah and twice the current of a single.

One is on the ignition so he has just 1650 on the receiver/servos. Should be enough so fly one time and check the voltage before and after the flight. Then you will have a good idea how much is used per flight. I like to check my voltages after every flight.

You could probably hang for a couple of flights on a 1650, after all I know many many many people running single 2200 mah on 35% due to keeping it as light as possible. MAH are MAH..... It just depends how long your voltage wants to hang on. Li-ions/pos will hold and hold and hold, and all of a sudden NADA.... NIMH will hold, get a little weaker, and a little weaker, and then NADA... Where your gonna run into probs as you get further into your charge life. You'll eventually decrease voltage to your servos, and ultimately your RX potentially causing a, well..... you know the "C" word. I would suggest build yourself a "time" safety net by increasing your MAH. Make it just that much less likely to have the voltage fall off when all servos are pegged in that hairy 1 3/4 snap to high alpha knife.... Do this by getting a bigger more powerful battery preferably in the 2700+ range....

ADIOS and BUENO SUERTE...

The only thing I would worry about is the internal Impedence of the pack...Here is a quote from NoBs Batteries;

NiMH in some cell types can have higher internal impedance, this means the voltage drop under significant current loads can be noticeable; particularly in electric flight motor pack applications. In most smaller sized aircraft (up to .60 sized using 'AA' sized cells) normal servo current loads seldom impact system security. Even in aerobatic environments most control systems don’t threaten a modern 4 cell Sanyo NiMH 'A' or 'Sub-C' sized packs voltage stability while under normal aerobatic flight loads. Nonetheless, I prefer to be very safe instead of very sorry! Years of experience with both Nicad and NiMH discharge curves under demanding or spiking, erratic loads leads me to strongly recommend using a 5 cell 6v pack or a parallel pack system in overly aggressive flight circumstances and particularly in 3-D, IMAC and Giant Scale type applications no matter which cell technology or servos you choose to fly with.

well I´ve been flying with 6v nimh 1650 mah or so batteries for a while now and I make 4 or 5 flights and thats it, not because of the voltage of the batt being low, but by the time I get to the 5th flight I have to clean it up and head home...actually I have never checked the voltage after all those fights..now I will have to do that, but any way, the point is that I make 4 to 5 flight a day, and if you have fast charger, well, then you will have 4 more flights...
