Default Powerbox evolution

I am going to purchase the Powerbox evolution it is meant to get power from 2 lipo,s accus, i want to use the fromeco lions , i know they have the same voltage but how about the voltage indication on the powerbox when the accus is getting drained, can i count on them when using the lions instead of lipo.'

I am using 2 of these Powerboxes in my 40% 260, each has 2 2400 Fromecos plugged to it no drama. I would use seperate voltage checking rather than rely on the lights. Fromeco 8 ball checker works well, check before each flight and you wont be disappointed.

I have this powerbox on my 35% 260 running 5955's everywhere. I run 2 4800mah Fromeco L Ions.

You wont need to worry about voltage for 1 days flying if you have a similar setup. But to answer your question. The Evolution does not have as many lights to indicate the decay of the charge,, its pretty much good/bad. I just use I4C onboard voltmeters and to read the pack voltage. They are about $40 but they sure make it nice to actually "see" the voltage.

The Evolution is a nice piece of hardware. I am loving mine.

I currently have a powerbox comp. in a 40% with 2 fromeco 4800 li ions
the only thing I dont like about it is the batterys do not discharge at the same rate
I thought that it had some kind of bat share circuit inside but apparently not
do any of you guys know if the powerbox evolution has this or should I do something different?

Thanks Frank

i run my H9 ulti on 2 x 4800 li ions and a powerbox champion and have never gone passed the first light - even after 6-8 flights a day - i run 5955's all round - yes, one does drain more than the other but i swop them around just in case.
