I thought you flew great Todd! That was weird how your plane didnt recover out of the inverted flat spin though. Any ideas? I was surprised how well it faired. Very minimal damage as far as i could see.

That was my first TAS and all I can say is WOW!!! On Saturday, I commented to a friend from my club that I thought anyone who put a plane up deserved a first place trophy. That wind was just unreal. Got to see the first half of the freestyle competition Sunday and I felt like I was still flying my trainer...on the buddy box. The noon demo on Sunday was awesome. Matt...if you read this, your demo even impressed my wife. Hope to make it back next year, but don't know if I'll still be in the region. Uncle Sam gets a say in that.

Haha thanks. Well I did kinda go into that inverted spin at like mach 3 haha so it prolly just had to much momentum to stop. Yeah the damage was minimal needs a new prop, a new rudder, and a bit of epoxy on the bottom of the firewall and im good to go!

I lost in the stock market. I was listening to that Hardball guy and bought Wamu stock.

Hey guys,

Made it home safely! WOOHOOO!!! What an event!! I have never flown in any competition anything like Invitational in Tucon. It's not just a matter of getting through the rounds without a zero its a matter of flying every maneuvre perfectly or else you slip back 3-4 spots! Incredible! As for the freestyle, I'm over the moon!! My plane is still in flyable condition!! And to top it off got a nice shiney second place trophy as well!
Thank you all very much for the support, I've been reading it every night after practice and competition and I really appreciate it. I had a great time over there, but man is it good to be back home! Now i get to do the fun stuff again, back to school and re-adjust my body clock so that I don't feel like breakfast at 7pm.
