Guys, just got back into the Hotel room and I'm uploading pictures into the BIG EVENT: 2008 TAS Gallery right now.


I'd like to say a HUGE THANKS to KIWI for helping me all weekend long... to DAVE JOHNSON from DA for organizing a GREAT event. Thanks to the entire DA crew, to ANNA WOODS the worlds best score keeper. The TIMPA crew for such a nice airfield, and hosting this great event. To Great Planes for helping Dave bring Matt Chapman and his Cap 580 to the show! And thanks to all the sponsors of the event.... wow... so many great prizes.. so many generous sponsors.
And finally I'd like to say congratulations to all the pilots. Each one of you guys are top notch pilots and true sportsman it was inspiring to watch each and every one of you fly all weekend long!

Another special shout out goes to Quique Somenzini, he took his prize for his placement and gave it to 10 year old Spencer who took 6th in sportsman. The prize happened to be a DA-170. QQ once again shows his true support for youth in aviation.

We tried to get it going but the awards took so long that we had no team to compete by the time that was all over.
It looks as if the Aussies/rest of the world will have to schedule a new match for next year because we didn't have the team.

Sorry guys but Max done all the talking but left before the event was scheduled. I just had no way to get it done, I was shooting the awards, and getting the results, and BAM everyone was gone.

So ... the SAGA continues.
