Default 12Z question... HELP!!

OK.. I have no idea why I can't get this to work..
I have programmed much more complicated stuff into this radio..

BUT.. I can not get my smart fly fiber optic kill switch to work with the 12Z.
I have tried using channel 8 as well as 9, and just set them to be a flap switch.
But no go.

On my old 9Z you would just select like channel 7 Aux, and then tell it which switch and which way was on and off.

Am i having a DUH moment here? Is it really simple and I'm just spacing out?!?!

RELP RAGGIE!

That should work. Try adjusting the ATV's to their max. I have mine on chan 8 - 8 is on a knob with max "throws". I have had the knob mixed into my engine-kill switch to close the throttle and kill the ignition, but I didn't like how easy it was to kill the engine at an inopportune time. I kill just before touch-down with my choke, instead, and just have the ignition kill on the knob.

sleepy, go into function and see if channel 8 is actually moving when you turn the knob. You may have to set the endpoints from 135 to 150 if its like the 14mz. Reply back if its moving or not.

yea.. I just assigned "gear" to ch 7, and put it on switch SB.
It goes to 100% when its down and 0% when its up...

I'm going to go up to the garage and see if it works...

Perhaps I was just having a DUH moment the other day.

OK I'm good.

I have no idea what I did the other day...
I thought I did the same thing I just did.

Oh well all's well that ends well.
