Has anyone experience with these servos and are they suitable for a 25/28% gasser? On 6v they are rated at 0.10/134.7oz (9.7kg), I have used 5985s and they seem pretty good, but have been offered some 5965s at a good price, but not sure if they have enough grunt.

went and checked them out and don't see any problems with them.you should be fine with that

They're the same servos as what you have, just with a different gear ratio. Hitec replaced the 5925 and 5945 with the 5965 and 5985. Not really any change in performance, but they addressed some of the weak spots in the older servos.

Thanks for the info, think I will get them and see how they go. I have a couple of 5985s and they seem pretty good, the 5965 is just a little quicker with a little less torque.
