 |  Futaba crystals
Need some help! I have been getting "hits" with my Futaba 7c for a long time. It comes and goes usually one channel at a time sometimes one after another. I've tried lots of things including sending the transmitter back to Futaba (no problem found). So today after a glitch free flight and then a second one where I took elevator and throttle inputs that were not mine, I decided to open my transmitter and take a looksee. I found that the transmitter has a BLACK tagged (single conversion?) crystal in it and I have always flown RED (Dual Conversion) reciever crystals. Have I found an issue or am I blowing smoke up my parachute? I really hope that this amounts to something as I have put in 4 planes over the 3 years I've been flying this transmitter. 3 of the 4 were beyond my control. |
