Default Weatronic - New movie from Ali M.

Ali Muchinchy (sp) from England has made a great little movie about the features and capabilities of the Weatronic dual receivers. The Weatronic receivers are IMHO by far the very best electronic product available to RC'ers flying airplanes in the mid to upper value class. I realize that not everybody would spend $500.00 on a receiver, but if you are going to buy a receiver, power expander/box, voltage regultor(s), switches, any way, the Weatronic is a cheaper and better solution, and it offers very useable capabilites not found in other products on the market at near the price of the Weatronic.

Movie: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_67...tm.htm#6726437

There are a couple of things Ali fails to mention and a couple of things he get wrong in the film, they are:

1. The servo synchronization feature will match not only end points and center. The user can chose up to 14 points on the primary servo curve and the unit will take readings at all points and match. This is very useful if servos do not move absolutely in unison.

2. Upgrading the firmware is via the SD card, not the USB connection.

3. In addition to the four voltage regulators for the servos, the Weatronic units have two voltage regulators for the receivers, so six voltage regulators total.

4. Towards the end, when he displays all the items needed to match the features of the Weatronic unit, after pointing to the sequencer he points to and say the PowerBox when it should have been the Weatronic unit.

In addition, Gerhard Paasche, the US importer and distributor of Weatronic is one of the nicest guys you could ever encounter. He is always very helpful and ready to help and answer questions. His website is: http://www.weatronic-usa.com/
