According to UPS tracking, my servos will be here on Thursday. I will take pictures of them with and without the servo arms and I will try some static testing to see how much load they put on the battery and to see if they get hot, go full travel without locking up and how they center and post my results. Then I will be putting them in a pizza box flyer in the next couple weeks to test them in flight providing the weather gets better and I will try and take video of that and post that as well.

You know these servos are rated at 7.2 volts. I wonder if you can run a spectrum receiver with no regs connected to 7.2 volt lions..

What I don't get is ... Troybuilt says compare them to hitec 5645's .. but 5645's only have 168 oz. torque and .18 speed @ 6V. These are rated at 219 oz. torque and .15 speed. If the quality is good, it compares a lot better than the 5645 it seems.

I just spoke with Bill Hatcher at TBM and he said the Power HD-9150 does put out over 200 oz. of torque. He said he compares the HD-9150 to the Hi-Tec 5645 because the price is only $2.00 apart.

Send a PM to Teke, He uses JR DSM and he could tell you if the RX will handle fully charged 7.2v Lions. In fact you my know him as him and his son flew with Renee? at R/C World.
Where do you fly at? I just moved up to Maryland from Winter Springs and I flew at RCACF for a few years then went to Sanford Aero Modeler's for couple years up until I moved away.

My understanding is the Spektrum receivers are rated for 30A at 9V.

No joke ? Wow. I think that was my LAST unregulated A123 concern.

I'm also watching for performance of these servos.

I wish TBM would test these and add to the "servo wars" info page.

Yup! Sell your regulators while the regulator market is still up...

HuiDa RC International Inc. is a high-scope company specialized in production, research and sales. There are experienced engineers and high-quality production lines, and they have established a great brand named .
Their company specializes in electric models, and also research new products based on the old products. They offer high performance products at lower price. They offer both analog and digital servos.
Sound like they remanufacture old designs not in production
