i think that red is aluminum, like the JR 8711's have an aluminum case to help with cooling.

I have not tried them, but the folks at TBM seem to think they are good servos. For me, I will stick with Hitec and JR for my giant scale airplanes.

Hi
I have four HD-9150MG that i will use in a QQ Yak-54 86". The servos seems to be strong and centering well. But i have a problem finding aluminium servo arms for them.
Anyone know where to get that?

Check out the JR aluminum servo arms. Have used them on Hitecs and I suspect they tighten on to anything.

I cant get a plastic JR horn to fit. The servo axle is a little bit thicker than JR/Hitec.

Those servos that Troybuilt is selling is the Power HD brand. They are said to be really good, but you can beat their price considerably by buying them from Hobbycity .
Apparently the news got out ... cause their stock went from a couple hundred to a minus backordered status quickly in the last few days.

Yes i bought them from Hobbycity
Someone must have mounted alu arms on them?

I asked the manufacturer and they are planning to make metal servos arms soon. So i guess i have to wait.

The digital servoes which is now under production are made with gear that fits Futaba. Hd will also produce own long alu arms soon.

The smaller indoor analog servoes are comming with loner arms soon.
