I have been running digitals on my throttle for quite some time now. Cant' believe everything ya hear!!! The throttle is one of the most crucial and precise thows on the airplane. I know I want my throttle to come back to the same place everytime all the time. Especially when doing 3D!!!! My two cents.... ![]() Ronster |

I have been running a digital 8231 servo on my 100cc Extra throttle for a while now with no problems.

Don't use a servo with karbonite gear train. the servo won't take the vibration. I use digital servos on my throttle all the time...no problems. rdgood is correct that the precision of a digital servo on throttle is desirable, not to mention everywhere else. MR G |

I like to put 8411SA on my throttle.......that's digital with plastic gears. Works great and doesn't appear to wear for the worse in the last 4 yrs. Just watch your metal to metal contact on the linkages.......yes, even if you fly 2.4ghz. Electrical/Freq feedback can travel through the signal wire of the servo to your RX and cause all sorts of havoc that are not specifically Freq related. |

Digital all the way! Dependable idle everytime. I've been running digital servos on the throttle for about 6 or 7 years now.
