Help! deans whip antenna

hey guys i know this is a stupid question , but does anyone know if you can put a deans whip antenna on a g.w.s. receiver?? and will it loose range?

ya know i really find it hard to beleive that none of you have tryed this. could i be the only person that has thought of this??????????????????????????????????? arent you guys tired of the long antennas getting in the way????????????????????????? was this really such a stupid question that it doesnt deserve a responce? i mean really, not even a smart azz chimed in. does my breath stink or something? NOW ANSWERE THE QUESTION.

I just used a really cool little antennae from Hobby-Lobby on a review plane. Take a look at this little gem.
