Hi there Throttle cut is working in reverse. That means, that I can close the throttle completely, while throttle cut is off. Once I turn it on, it jumps to the position I set. The throttle servo has been reversed in the servo reverser menu. What am I doing wrong, or does the build in throttle fuction only work when the throttle servo has not been reversed??

Thank you for the reply. Not sure what you mean though? How do I do that?

Go to the throttle cut screen and then the switch select and then the on/off setting and reverse which side of the switch is on. At least this is if I understood the question correctly. |

Already tried that. And it doesn't help The problem in more details... The throttleservo needs to be reversed for correct operation. When the default "Throttle cut" mix is off, the trottle servo can move it's full range - close the barrel completely and then some (a bit of binding) to full throttle. When the default "Throttle cut" mix is on, it jumps to the preset position (throttle closed whit no binding). When the mix is on, the servo holds that position, no matter if you move the stick. Hence, a reversal of the on/off position of the switch won't solve the problem. Is it really true that I have to uninstall the servo and reverse it physically (making new linkages etc.) to solve this problem, in a $2000 computer transmitter??

Isn't that what you want when you set up a throttle cut?? after all....when you kill your throttle your engine dies....and being able to move the throttle after that is pointless.... Atleast this is what I got from what you wrote... You could try setting the throttle cut to the trainer switch, so you can press it and then when you let go you will have control of your throttle.

The problem is that when off, I can still close the throttle barrel completly... i.e. kill the engine. If I move the end point so that I can can't close the throttle servo completly on the throttle stick, the throttle cut fuction won't close the barrel completely either.

Ahh, I understand now I think. 1. Set the throttle cut to INHibit. 2. Set up your servo movement and linkage for the full travel that is needed. This means kill to full throttle with no binding. 3. Go back to the throttle cut screen and set to ACTive. 4. put the throttle stick in the position the you want for idle and press Cut Position. Yes this $2K radio can do anything that I have been able to dream up. |

ShortBus thanks for the help - your post made me re-think and try again. The end point actually have to be at the low throttle setting and throttle cut will go below that endpoint setting. I guess when I tried before I just exaggerated the endpoint too much, because I wanted a clear visual indication that it worked, alas too high an end point it won't work. Flyinfool, I tried what you said before, and thats was how I though it should be aswell, but as far as I can see, it's the endpoint that decides the idle position. Please let me know if I am dead wrong!
