Default JR PCM 10X Programming Question

Hello Folks,

Quick question about elevator-flap mixing on a PCM 10X. I would like to setup an elevator-flap mix which I can do easily. However I would like this to only be active while I am in Flight Mode 2, does anybody know how this can be achieved??

Cheers

Couldn't you set it to be active in FM2??? I think that you can activate it in you E-F mix. I'll know more once I get home. I'll be home in about 2 hours. I'll check then.....

Hey Jonathan.

I'll try and get our resident expert on here to help you. Names The Tank, spent a few good months in NZ so understands English pretty well.

He has more MBA's and PHD's than you can cram in a Watties 16oz baked bean can and my understanding is he is a cracker jack on JR 10X radios.

Let me see if I can russle him up a bit.

Mate off too the Nall for week in heaven dude. Will tell you some yarns when I get back.

Hey guys thanks for the responses so far,

Chrisfry I can activate the mix fine in E-F Mix as you say however I am unsure how to only make it active when I am in FM2 and not 0 or 1. Let me know what you find when you get home.

Kiwi, sounds TANK is just the man I need to hear from. Hopefully he can drop in here and give me the answer. Have a ball at the Nall Kiwi. Can't wait to hear what you get upto this year!!

Cheers

Do a elevator to flap program mix. You can not use function 63 Elevator to Flap mix as it will not allow you to set it to the FM2 switch. Once you have flight modes active in function 17, you use Program mix 1-8, then page to the switch select screen and active the mix on FM2.

Hope this makes sense

CP has it right. I just fiddled with my 10X, and did the same thing!!! Cannot do it in pgm. 63. I even tried!!! It only works on the E-F sw. (Me personally)I would set a PMix to like 56,57,58 and then page over to the switch selection and then choose FM2.

Cheers Guys I will give it a go tonight.

Seems kinda stupid, I had thought of using a program mix however that fact that my PCM 9X could do it in 30 secs using the E-F mix made me think that surely the 10X could???

Anyway Thanks,
1CAN
