I was in the process of buying a 14MZ but I was convinced by a friend to wait for the new JR radio, since the season is winding down, I can survive with my 9Z, hoping for something special from JR by the end of the year.

Why wait for 16 channels... when you can have 28 channels with the 14MZ!!! http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLZH6&P=7 I have one of these modules... and it works really cool!!!! (Will also work with the 1024 nine channel Rx's... upping it to 16 channels)

Really good Ergo feel... the sliders are right under my fingers.... The dis[play is actually visable in sunlight.... Lithium Ion Tx battery... If programming a 9ZAP is a 10 on the "Hard" scale... the 14MZ is like a 2.7 FUTABA offers software updates.... so it is feasable... this will be the last Tx needed for a long time.....

the radio, software, screen and handling are fabulous but futaba could have worked a little more on the design that’s all. overall radio is great

huh? is it the look you mean, had a Jr guy say to me it looks too plain, I said its the easiest radio to keep clean with no pointless grooves and crevices, ppffft who cares about look, its functions are incredible, and updatable. http://rcfan.com/radios.html
