Hep me Hep me. Goin to da Huckfest! Greg Ward is Going to make Orchard Farms Rock! We'll hold back the flood waters with thousands of amps that'll be pounding out from the Sooner Magic Airshow's equipment. AND I'm bringing 4 more speakers so everyone can can hear Trent and Cohen sing "Don't you wish your Girlfriend was hot like me". Snap can even join in. Mic in one hand, Hookah in the other. You'll get just a taste of what will be cranking at the HEATWAVE in late July.

Fireman, I take that as a compliment, your description is semi accurate, actually what you're describing is a mini Huckfest a la Joe Nall, this will be a full blown Huckfest a lot more extreme, during the day and at night, expect much more than your description but it's a start, I wonder how you know all that? ![]() We may start the Huckfest in St Louis and end it at the HEATWAVE with Tim

Guys, This new location is an awesome place to fly. Last year I spend a better part of a week there practicing for the XFC. There are no trees or house obstructions rules like at the old place. Of course the only person that seemed to have trouble with that was Fast Ford!! Snap you can run but you can't hide from Stickers and I. You can bet it will be a sneak attack! Orchard Farm is right on the top of my list of best fields in the USA. I'll be there Thursday at beer thirty. Jason |

I'm leaving Cleveland around 7am. Its 11.5 hours there, if I push it, I believe I can roll in just in time to miss beer thirty traffic.

Hopefully these pics will give you an idea of what to expect. These were all taken last summer at the Orchard Farm RC Open House.....I don't know the exact dimensions but its BIG and wide open. The pilot's fence is pretty much in the middle of the field. Crosswind landings are not an issue if there is wind. You can easily land in 1/3-1/2 the field. If you really suck you won't even run out of space. I was out there two weeks ago and there was corn that is about 2 foot. That might have grown but its still short. If there is a corn pull contest someone is going to be packing dirt on their rudder. Bring it boys, the field is calling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I think I can even land at that field. As long as no one is near the flightline.
