Yes they are tight. It's wierd on low rates the plane will hold knife edge and climb. On high rates the rudder slowly goes away! I've already checked for some mix or something obvious. I guess it just heats up and fades.

That was going to be my next guess, Does your Extra have room for a second pull pull servo? If it does throw it in and be done. IF i say IF your extra is like my edge there is only room for one pull pull servo but there are 2 locations on the fuse for push pull servo's in the tail one on each side.

The tray has a spot for two. I guess that's what I'll try next!

feeling better now. 66 u need to look at your extensions, sounds like voltage loss to me or weak servo.

Hi Mark, hope you're feeling better. There are no extension. Rudder servo just plugs into RX.. also this is a new servo. The old servo was new too. Both where hitec 7955's I still wonder about those black ends on the rudder. I'm wondering if they are fighting the servo at full deflection.

jUST A LITTLE MORE TO ADD TO THE EVENT. The city of St Charles has an event called Hot Summer Nights where all the resturants and bars close the streets and serve everyone outside in downtown St Charles. It is a historic area that is really cool. We will put together a plan to have everyone meet down there, it will be lots of fun.

Do you have a pic with it all put together? looks like a matter of leverage.

cool mark, sounds fun! would that be more of a friday night or a saturday night thing?
does anyone know if Jared Sisk and John Light are comin out next weekend?
last question, does anyone know how i can get a hold of Chris Gini?

Yo Brian, how much tension are on those tailwheel springs? they look awefully tight...
at full rudder deflection, could they be putting too much strain on the servo maybe
causing some kind of voltage overload?

Mark, thanks for asking. Here are a few pic's. The rudder is 3" wide where it connects to the pull pull cables. The servo arm is 3" and I have tried a 4" also. Now I'm wondering about using an offset arm when the connections of the pull pull cable are even with the hinge line. The cable on both side are tight through out the movement. I have tried replacing the 7955 servo with another new 7955 and the problem did not improve at all. So my servo was good. I have room in the tray for another servo, but if I'm having a setup problem then throwing another servo in the mix will only mask the problem. Also the cable are not crossed. Thanks for every ones help... Much appreciated!
