Crew, I just wanted to extend a "Thank You" to Max and Biff for a blast this weekend. I went to the Iowa E-XPO to spend some time flying and messing around. Once I got there, I walked right up to Max doing the broadcast and said hello. I've talked to Max on the phone quite a bit, but never met him in person. He pulled up a chair, bought me a soda and we sat and did the webcast for a while and then went and found Biff. I met Biff last weekend at E-Fest and had a blast there as well. Biff extended me a warm welcome and introduced me to some of the guys from Hobbico and Max, Biff, two gentleman from Hobbico and myself did a quick little interview for the webcast and did some flying. The connection on the cast was phenominal. I hope you guys enjoyed watching it as much as I enjoyed being there. We had Matt Chapman on the phone doing an interview and tried to get Wayne Geffon on the phone and had one of the best FG moments ever recorded...if you missed it, I'm sure Max will recover the archived video and post it. It was hilarious. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. We finished the day off around 6pm and headed to Mike Walker's place. Mike was the gentleman who coordinated the event and he did a fantastic job. Mike welcomed Biff, Max and myself into his fantastic home for some grub and drinks. We had a helluva time, and headed back to the hotel. Big thanks to Max and Biff for lettin' me grab a rollaway bed and stay in the room with 'em. That was cool of them. I was planning on getting my own room and Max came back with "Hell no, you're bunkin' with us..." We had fun yesterday, eventhough it was cut short for the long trip home. We left around 12pm and headed off. So, all in all, I want to thank Max and Biff for a great time. I had a lot of fun and it was worth the 5+ hour drive. Good flyin', good friends, good facility...can't beat that. Thanks again, guys! I had a blast.

If they were, I wasn't looking. I did hear some mumbling in the middle of the night tho... It was cool. Couple of crazy dudes. I drove them from the house to the hotel...the longest 15 minutes of my life...

Hey Mikey!!! This trip hasn't ended for me yet, at the airport right now jumping on a plane in about an hour. I think I'm in Cedar Rapids IA.. Thanks a ton for making the trip to the EXPO, that was totally cool having you around to help with the cast, and of course peeling the stucco off of Mike's ceiling.. Big thanks to the Walker's for the hospitality as well!! Dennis, yes it's true. Funny story. Me Biff and Mike (Wizard) all hooked up at the XFC last year and picked up a motel (roach) with two twins. Being the nice guy I am, we gave Wiz a bed all to himself, and I courageously decided to share a twin bed with Biff. I took all the pillows off the chairs and couch and made a line of demarcation that split the twin bed essentially into two cots. In the morning Bob and I woke up, pillows all gone, at the same time, with our noses like 1/2 an inch away from each other. In shock, the only words that came out of my mouth were.. "dude...". I immediately gave myself a quick rape kit, and made sure all my teeth were still in my mouth. Wiz of course was LHAO. Don't tell anybody about that, pretty embarrassing.

Mike, Please don't post the picks from Saturday night!! Duane is currently holding the video hostage, I bet it surfaces someday when he desperately needs something from one of us! Max & Biff, thanks for joining us in the UNI-Dome with all the FG gear in tow. The webcast was awesome and I hope you all had as much fun as we did. P.S. My mother, wife, and sister have decided they deserve a weeks vacation in the Bahamas to recover from Madmax's antics Saturday night! Any chance you have that in the budget Max? -Kevin

HA HA, If I was worried about that foamie I would not have handed it to you for Biff's "between the folding chairs limbo"! BTW - it was awesome that you gave the kit you won to a youngster in the crowd....he won't soon forget that one!! I'll check out the video and would love to see the photos!

Yeah, it was a good time, it was great meeting and hanging out with you guys, however, I feel permanently scarred by the experience, and I've been barred from discussing it with my wife, Max. Partly by her, and partly because Kevin's dad said he'd hurt me if I did. If you're funding that previously mentioned vacation, Caryn's going too.

hehehehe let me know when the girls head out of town. I'll fly back out there and really show ya how it's done!! Thanks again guys, you defiantely made the trip, and this EXPO thing is going to grow like wildfire. The Uni (one) Dome is absolutely the most killer venue for indoor electrics short of, possibly, The AstroDome. Can't wait till next year! When I get back home I'll post a ton of photos. Thanks again to Mike, Craig, Duane, Barg, and all our friends and crew!!
