Midwest Friends: -20?? Say What?

Just watched Brett Faaaaveere in the playoffs with the FlyingGiants and .... Wait The Giants, and I think the announcer said this was the coldest playoff ever played in the history of the NFL?

Hope you all are keeping warm and toasty during the chill. -20 is nuts. We freak when it hits 60 degrees out here. Y'all take care, friends.

It was only -4 with a -23 windchill. Ooh yah, and at that temperature they aren't nuts, they are more like raisins trying to hide.

We had '2 on Saturday, got up to +5 yesterday. God I love Illinois.

Night before last it was 6 deg, not sure how cold it got last night, but the temp as 14 deg as I was on my way home from work at 8:00 this morning.

We had to put our beers on the grill to keep from freezing. It was brutal cold, but not cold enough to keep us away from 1285 Lombardi ave.

Look at it the other way Inno, you saved $$ by not having to buy ice! Makes more $$ for beers.

Naaa, its ok here. Shoot, I even barbq'd on Saturday. Though, I did have to keep the grill on self clean to cook the burgers and when I turned the gas off when I was done, I closed the lid, counted to 5 and the grill was cold to the couch.

Mike, you're right...it wasn't THAT bad...it is bad, however when you have to keep your beer in a cooler of ice to keep it from freezing solid. That works, by the way...keep your beer on ice in sub-zero weather and it won't freeze...the ice cooler is an insulator at that point...

during the game they said the temperature at kickoff was -2 and that was the 3rd coldest game in history
