My great Uncle flew B-17's in WWII and one of the ones that he named was "In The Mood" named after the song. The plane was shot down over Belgium, I think, at least that's what the internet said when I tried to search for it. Fortunately, he was not on the plane for that bombing run. but I digress.....

Who knows. I would very much like to get into Army fixed wing aviation. The other route I might decide to go in the Army will require some serious prayer; the Chaplaincy. Funny enough I am tall enough to fly Heli's or Planes for the Army but not the Airforce. I am tall enough to parachute from planes and even for Halo. Halo school would be cool to get but at least I got my jump wings.

The Army has a small amount of fixed wing planes right now and might be taking on what looks like a smaller C-130. Seriously though why does the USAF want to take over all that flys? Yall are getting weird about the UAV things.

My guess, and only my guess, is that the AF doesn't get the money they need, so they need ground to stand on to fund the new planes. Also, the AF is getting heavy into actual war. The chairforce is dying out, thankfully. Soon, everyone in the AF, will know hand to hand combat, as well as be able to do the security forces' job in addition to whatever specialty they have.(or at least that's the rumor on the latter part, the former is going into play as I write this)

Does the Airfoce do unit PT still? Man last time I was at Pope seeing some of them doing PT it looked like an episode of biggest looser. Then again the Reserves are not exactly PT studs. Never thought you would hear people scared to take a PT test.
