Not bad!! I guess one day I'll use my fromeco cube with a123 card to charge my MB CLS550....sweet

Cool, now I could get 100mpg going flying. It's a shame it costs $10K

I drove 2900 miles on my trip to the Joe Nall and averaged about 48mpg. It sure does make 50cc planes more desirable.

How long would it take for a Prius to burn through $10k of fuel. I don't think you could ever make that money back plus the $1 per 40 miles for electricity.

They are doing some cool things though. Have you seen their drag bikes and cars? FAST!!!

Good point. I would like for Allison and A123systems to get together and make a hybrid conversion transmission kit for my Dodge diesel truck. Still cool technology. I'm sure the next generation of Hybrids will be impressive. I've been very pleased with my Prius. Now my truck may sit for a month before I drive it.

Right. The former is for entertainment and it serves its purpose. The latter is to save money on fuel and does not serve its purpose. (Unless tweaking hybrids is your hobby then it has other purposes than just saving money and may well be justified.) When are they going to take one of these high efficiency diesels and turn it into a hybrid and/or make them work like a train locomotive.
