the thing that really ticks me off....

I just went out with my little boy to run a few errands... you know...bank, hardware store (needed something STRONG to try and kill mosquitos so I could actually tolerate being outside by my grill.... sadly, nuclear based solutions were not an option...)
and then the grocery store... picked up all sorts of goodies..
buns, chicken, yummy brats, the other stuff... milk, cereal, a few adult malted beverages for Dad...and wouldn't you know...
I get all the way home, unpack and then come in and read the last few posts....

Guess what I forgot at the store.....

Hamburger meat!!!!

Arrrrrrggghhhh

Now I have to finish the with my failure to buy hamburger meat hanginf over me.....

Oh well.. at least I was able to purchase a few cancer causing substances so I can kill mosquitoes....so it isn't a total loss

Posts like this and double posting is actually working against Wayne's mojo. For this to REALLY mean something, some of you guys should REALLY go back and nuke some of the posts that you WILL NOT BE PROUD OF when we archive this thread.

Would Michael Jordan want the defense to just move out of the way to let him set a record? NO!! Does Wayne really want controversy or a hollow victory on this record attempt? NO!!

I say not only STOP with the one word posts and double posts, BUT DELETE THEM! It's your call Wayne. I know you're climbing Mount Everest, but wouldn't you rather earn your moment on the summit? There's an escalator running from base camp to 29,000 feet or there's the Hillary ice flow. Which method will you choose to reach the top?

I think Tanzing Norgay and sir Edmond Hillary would have scoffed at the escalator. Anyone can reach the top the easy way. Wayne's name will go down in history for his acheivment. Will his grand children's grand children hold their head up high, or hide from the press in shame. Pete Rose or Arnold Palmer?

I leave it to Wayne's conscience. You can certainly stay the course you're on and get that Hall of Fame award. Will it be a source of pride, or just a silly diamond encrusted platinum trinket?
wayne is only the conduit! we are the power that runs the task!
Fully agree Knighttwister! If one needs the Starship Enterprise to change course to avoid collision, one would speak to Captain Kirk. He might not be at the helm, but he ultimately steers the ship!
