Ok, I guess I will have to let out the famous Wizard's incredaburger recipe.

Get a large metal bowl, add 5 lbs ground sirloin.

One cup finely chopped onion (a .60 spinning a 12 x 6 APC will chop it well)

One cup chopped bell pepper, red and green (red bell pepper, blood from chopping the green one doesn't count).

Add one raw egg (helps hold things together when cooking and feels strange when mixing).

Add enough J.R. Madds steak seasoning to make the pile look orange.
Mix with hands (remember what I said about the egg?) Once well mixed, form into medium size patties (about 1/2 pound each).

Next go into the club house and "borrow" the grill from the box fan (make sure it is a metal grill, Plastic will not work If you don't have a metal fan grill borrow a grill from the local grocery store - see photo below). Round up as much carnage as possible from the day (remove as much monocote as possible) use the carnage for the fire (a little glow fuel helps to get it going).

Cook until there is no more blood running out. Cover with co-jack cheese and let it melt. Place between two slices of fresh bread (no buns for a good burger). There is to be no catchup or mustard used on a Wizard's incredaburger, you may add Miracle Whip if you wish. Enjoy with your favorite cold non non alcoholic beverage.

Because Wayne gets an award from Biff if this thread goes to over 15 pages long.

[quote=innovator]Eating at the flying field can be as complicated as a perfectly executed inv 0 of 8 cross box. Again, it all about the entry. The entry in this case is the weather report. 60-75 deg, definetly a grilled meal of some sort. First would be Tripp (belgians know what this is), kind of a brat deal. Goes perfect with ice cold beer and chips. Maybe a hamburger, it also goes great with ice cold beer and chips, but I would probably throw in a pickle as well. Grilled chicken might hit the spot, but would need extra cooler for the tomato, mayo and lettuce and that would take space away from the beer, so chix is out. If the entry is over 75 deg, we then must consider a deli sandwich. Perhaps a turkey sub with all the fix'ens, again very tasty with ice cold beer. The roast beef sammy isn't a bad idea, beer here is good also.

That gets us thru our afternoon snack. Maybe 2 sammys and 4 beers. Now lets get down to evening flying.

The sun will be setting, so you don't have time to eat, just keep flying. The beverage of choice here would be rum, after 4:30 of course[/quote

I tried to figure out the inverted 0 of 8 cross box but never could. I though I saw the beginnings of it at Normal but was not too sure. Even watched the video as you explained it. Had a plane up in the air yesterday and just could not get it started. Is the above really the explanation???????
