Hello all. I just found this forum and it looks like there's some pretty good action. Other forums I signed up for range from dead to very active. I look forward to learning and being entertained here.

I've been into rc planes for about 3 years. Started with glow but started dabbling in electric about 2 years ago, when our club lost it's field. Now I fly mostly electric. It's so convenient. I fly electric park fliers, no more than 2lb (32oz) and 48" wing span. Can take them anywhere and fly off of small local fields. Club fields are 45 minutes away, so electric is much more convenient for me.

Now I'm going to snoop around the forum and see whats here.

Steve, welcome to the Giants. Glad to have you here. Your right our forums are very active. We have a lot of member that enjoy sharing information related to our hobby. We have an entire section related to electric flight.

It seem like you have the right idea, start by looking through the forums to see what is here. Don't forget to visit the Media galleries. There is a ton of great photos and videos there.

We would enjoy seeing photos of what you are flying. It sounds like you have some planes that are a nice size for a lot of folks that can't get to the club field very often.

One more thing you don't have to fly giant scale, to be a a Giant. It's all about the love of RC flight.
