I am an OU fan myself.
You will have fun here just don't let them talk you in to going snipe hunting, they are pretty aggressive this time of year.

You are from AZ and in OK, but I am from OK and in AZ.
Seems like a fair trade to me.

What are you studying at OSU in stoolwater?

Matt,

Do you know Dr. Arena? I fly for his class that enters the AiAA/ONR/Cessna Design/Build/Fly contest. We have finished 1st and 2nd the last 2 years. What are you studying? I get to Stillwater regularly and we do our test flying at the Ditchwitch plant. Do you know of anyway to get in and fly foamies in the Colvin Center?

Later,

Dan

Oh yah, I'm an OSU grad living in Guthrie.

Thanks for the warm greeting! I've been in this neck of the woods for about 6 yrs now. I'm finishing up a masters in Aviation/Space Sciences. I'm not exactly sure what that means though ... I got my undergrad as a pilot, now I'm kicking around the idea of flying UAV's in Iraq or Afganistan.

Dan, I know of Dr. Arena, haven't met him. I suppose you'll remember Aaron Sattre from Ponca? We used to fly rc a lot together.

JClark, if you'll look very closely at the OK Game and Fish Regs, you'll see that there is actually a Sipe season, no kidding! ;-) http://www.wildlifedepartment.com/seasons.htm

As far as flying in the colvin center, that would be pretty sweet, I'll look into it, but I suspect they'll not like the idea. I am looking into the use of a church/highschool gym on Washington.

I remember Aaron. His team won 2 years ago. In fact my Dad used to live in Ponca and helped him when he first started flying.

Let me know if you get in to a gym somewhere. I would love to come up there some evening or weekend.

Dan
