Hey folks - Ok, I'll stick my toe in here. I'm from Dillsboro, Indiana and have been involved in R/C building/flying since age 12, some 30 years ago. I grew up in Northern California and was a member of the Pioneer R/C club and got my wings there and flew lots of "classic" pattern ships during the '80s there and did reasonably well for my age in various contests. Long story short - I seem to have (or make) more time for building than flying and have built a couple of Cardens over the past couple of years - sadly, my full time job gets in the way.  I'm attaching pics of my cool new shop and a Yak I recently framed up. I owe the incomparable Walt of BBW a huge thank you for all of the tips and threads he's been involved in here - someday maybe I'll do a BLW (Build Like Walt). Have a 300 on order and am excited about getting started. Long way of saying hello - what a great forum! Bob |
