We have a new Club in Crowley, La. Just 1.6 miles north of the I-10 East Crowley Exit on the left. we have a grass runway that is 775ft long by 100ft wide. we aslo have the only AMA sanctioned seaway in the state of Louisiana. The seaway is 700ft long by 100ft wide. It's a great place for all you 3-D guys to get your rudder wet. Our club name is the Rice Area Modelers Society (RAMS). We fly Jets, Giant scale, 3D, Warbirds, Seaplanes, Helis, and just about anything with wings. We welcome all you boys to come fly with us. We will be kicking off our flying season on Sunday April 2nd with our 2nd annual Fun fly and BBQ. We will also have our 2nd annual Float fly Saturday and Sunday September 2nd and 3rd. For the 2006 flying season we will be adding to our callender of events with our first annual Warbird gathering on Saturday July 8th. and on November 4th we will have our first annual Funfly, Night fly and Gumbo ! Question: What do you get when you have Cajuns flying R/C planes at night for the first ? Answer: More fun than the law should allow ! |
