I got one and it is a great overall airplane. I used Hitec 5945's all around, two on the rudder and no problems in hard flying. I used a DA100 with Mtw TD75 cans, I am thinking about switching to the DA85 as it would reduce overall weight and get the CG back. Getting my CG further aft is the only problem I have had. I moved my two rudder servos to the tail, put both my 6V 2100 nimhs just aft of the wing and it still could stand to have a further aft CG. There is nothing really special you need to do to this plane, just follow their instructions as they are pretty good. The DA100 is ballistic power too, so the 85 should be nice replacement for me. That DA-85 sure has me singing DA...... 6810 hot on a Vess 26A with power to spare on a H-9 Cap with a JTEC muffler. A tune pipe or a can and its on with this baby. I am thinking this is the motor I need for other gas planes future projects both upsizing and downsizing and from the 50cc and 100cc birds....(meaning only 33-35% birds) |
