Default Hello from Sweden.

...Howdy Flyers..

This is my first thread in here and I hope that You all can understand what I'm writing.

Who am I??? Well, thats a good question, at least I know that I live in the cold Sweden (at least in the winter time) and I'm into planes, big and small, and helis. For the moment I'm trying to learn how to fly one of those things, helis that is.

Other hobbies: I like fishing, I just bought a 25' boat for vacation purposess and of course my family whith a couple of dogs to that.

That's all for now but as someone said, I'll be back....

..Well Jack, for the moment my favorite plane is an Pica Models Waco YMF3 1/5th scale whith a Magnum 160 Twin up it's nose and covered whith silk cloth. But I have lots of them, GP Super Skybolt, ESM/KMP September Fury (unbuilt), Extra 300S ( don't remember manufacturer) and just ordered an Jamara Pitts S12 Monster 1750 mm in span in livery mode 2. For that one I need a good engine, been thinki'n about the DL 50....wonder if it's good.. I have a lot more planes in varying sizes, too many to mention by text...hehehe.

To all this I try to learn my heli, for the moment it's Zoom 450 electric but I laso have an Raptor 50 to continue whith after I have used the Zoom too much ( read: crasched)....

That's all for now but as mentioned earlier: I'll be back..

By the way, nice to get responding to my first writing Jack, Thanks..

Wow, so your a very accomplished pilot at this!! Your planes all sound great! Are you into scale modeling or just all round planes make you happy!! I love any 3D airplane which would include your Extra 300s you have! Get a sim if your learning Heli, makes it easier and less costly if you crash!! Get some pictures up of your planes(not all of them as you seem to have a lot! lol!)! Again welcome!! Jack

...Thanks Jack for the welcoming..

Accomplished or not, I've been flying models for almost 30 years......and that whith RC... I flew Giant Scale in the middle of the 80's whith a Byron Originals Cap 21 and a Pilot Models Pitts S2A 1/3 scale. I just love scale planes, both aerobatics and warbirds. I've had my share of them both.

I also flew gliders in the middle of the 80's, full size gliders that is....took my certificate in 1983 but had to let it go in 1992 because of an faulty eye.

Heli I have trained by sim, Aero Fly Pro DeLuxe but I think it's harder to do it IRL compared to simulator so I decided to learn "The Real Way"...hehehe

Nice talking to You Jack and I wish You a nice ending of the weekend..........
