Hi, Roger Phillips here, from Oxford, Indiana. Home of Dan Patch. I fly anything, but mostly 1/4 scale and bigger now. I have a few giants, this years plane is an Aeroworks 31% Edge 540 I am finishing up a 28' X 40' workshop, just so my wife can park in the garage, without running over a plane or two. Thanks, guys! I'm always interested in learning new things, as well as sometimes offering a bit of my own. I've been flying since 1988, and have flown just about everything. I'm finally financially able to fly somewhat bigger airplanes, although I don't have any desires for the 40%'ers. 33% is about as big as I want to go. I prefer building, and used to build 10 - 15 planes a year, but now it's down to just a couple, with the quality ARF's that are out there. I built six last year (well, 5 1/2!!) but they were all for other people. Thanks for the welcoming! rcav8or Avatar to come.... |

Glad to see a fellow Hoosier, I live in Washington, IN. Quite a ways south of where you are located. Check out the Calendar of events. June 30, July 1,2 there is a fly-in at Peebles Ohio. It is going to be a blast. It is a non-competition, everyone that flys will get a chance at the prizes donated by the sponsors including radios and airplanes.
