"Lo Gents, Just joined FG tonite and I must say it's kickin'. I've been flying electrics for 2 years.Curently I'm flying a hopped up Mini Funtana and overpowered Great Planes Yak-55 foamer off the frozen pond in front of my house. My current project is a Funtana 90 (not really "Giant", I know) but it will be my first foray into larger glow powered aircraft. I'm honing my 3D chops on the electric flyers and lots of Realflight G3 stick time. I've got harriers, blenders, and knife-edge spins wired. I can hover for 5-10 seconds at a time (no torque rolls yet :-) ). I've got long hovers and rolling harriers figured out on G3, but not in real-life yet. I'll be spending lots of time around here in the forums and looking forward to the Ground School vids - can't wait! Thanks for a great site!! C'mon warm weather!! - Dave Killmer |

Dave, It's great to have you here!! You've already been around the site, so I don't have to brag it up. The info here is awesome, and it'll only get better.

Hiya IfixA, I live in Rindge (south of Jaffrey/Peterborough - in the Monadnock region). I work in Nashua. I'm a controller; ATCDave - get it?. I have heard about some of the clubs around and their flying fields from the guys at RC Buyers Warehouse (I work right down the street from RCB, sweet!). I hope to visit around this summer to meet some fellow 3D'ers. Maybe we can meet up and fly! - Dave |
