I've been a member for a little while now and just getting tired of seeing the send us a Welcome popup. So Hello everybody. I'm a long time rc'er, almost 30 years!
Been building and crashing, er flying since the early 70's. Like to build my own
and seem to garner more satisfaction out of the sport that way. Love sport, pattern and scale, did gliders for several years but now mostly back to sport aerobatics and working on my first full fledged scale project which is why I found flyinggiants and my reason for signing up. Always looking for help when trying new things. It took awhile but after the first 20 years of spending lots of my money and time to work out the problems my self I finally smartened up a bit. Really like the format and it's been interesting going through the forums and gleaning bits here and there. Maybe someday I'll be able to add my two cents when somebody else has a question.
