Pitviper: Haven't been to the natural bridge in a long time. Beautiful countryside over there. I'd head that way when I was motorcycling alot. I'll try to take a better look around on your club's site.

Radrich: Thanks for the invite. The guys in my club always try to 'fly in the new year'. From the looks of the forecast........well I'd better take along alot of coffee and an extra coat! The weather looks promising for tomorrow, so I'm also gonna get in the last flights of '07.

I hope y'all have a great turnout, and I'll definately holler at ya when I can head to E-town.

bounty hunter, glad to have you here with us. we try to fly the old year out and the new one in hear in western ky too. the weather has been very good this week so the flying the old year out has been great but the forecast for new years day is 29 deg and 17 mph winds so the fingers will be getting cold but i will be at the henderson ky's club fly-in come rain or shine.

Hi Randy, good to see another Kentuckian chime in here. I think that the whole state has had pretty good weather this week. The older I get, the less I like the cold, so I'll probably cheat just a bit and take one of my electrics and a couple of batteries to the field tomorrow. That way I can just bug-out when I get too cold.

DadsToys.....you ever been to Frankfort to fly ? There was a guy who was from Bowling Green that was here in Frankfort for a while and used to come up to the flying field and hang out.

Pitviper, I don't envy you a bit. It's ain't gonna just be uncomfortable.........it's gonna be brutal. Of course you could oversee things from the comfort of a warm car, LOL. Plus you could hold the tx out the window when you're ready to fly......just need to find a suc....... er, I mean volunteer, to fuel and start your plane for ya. LOL
