Default hello new to the forum

hello folks
my name is David from millport AL. just found your site and was looking to fix my little plane LOL it is a airhog well i have two one is a pusher and the other is a puller
dont laugh guys they did not have these neat little things when i was a small lad
i am reliving my childhood lol
well anyway my son let his friend play with them and they didnt survive so i took the guts and motors off both planes and kept the radio andtrashed the rest of it
i am looking for some way to use these part to build me another plane anybody have any ideals hate to throw it away they still work fine just need a cheap body for them
i saw the youetube video on the slofly wing that looked real good but i have no servo on mine the motors did all the lift and turns
any body have any plans i can get from them
Thanks
David Allen

Hi David. I'm Richard from Kentucky. Yup, those AH's can be alotta fun but I regret to inform you that in these circles, those planes are known as expendable. I'm not saying that you should throw that stuff away though. Go buy yourself some foam and design your own little plane to play with. In the meantime, go check out your local hobby shop and see what they have for a trainer. They'll steer you in the right direction. Good luck and welcome to the FLYING GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are some good articles on these micro "guts" being used in cool little scale ships in the AMA mag.

try www.modelaircraft.org for more info. The micro stuff kind of has a following of its own.

Hey falconer,

Good call on what Toro said, great place to start. Do a Google on micro rc, I'm sure you'll find some cool stuff there also.

Welcome to the Giants!!!
