Default greetings from Nevada

Hey All,
I was just curious if anyone had any experience flying of a super stick 60? I have about a years worth of heli experience, (trex 450, 600e, 600N) but never been airborn flying a plane. It is stock except the OS.91 up front. (some LHS pilots told me to get a bigger engine due to our local altitude.) The Stick was an impulse buy and putting it together has been alot of fun. so far its balanced and the engine has one run varying the mix. I have to admit that screaming 3 bladed 12-7 prop is just as terrifying as my 600 Nitro at 2000rpm.

My sim experience is almost an addiction. I have G4 and FSone. next weekend is the maiden. no garbage bags or glue allowed. cross your fingers for me!

thanks,
another annoying heli transplant

Hello hampilot I'm in Dayton,NV just down the road from you.We fly at the High Sierra Club field off hwy 50 the dump access road in Carson City.Field is down to the left off the road to the dump. That Stick will fly fine up here with that 91.We have some flying those with 4 stroke 91's and 125's.You will get more thrust with a 2 blade APC prop. Most have installed larger wheels for ground clearance. If you need help we have a good group out here.Weather has kind of sucked for flying the last month or so.

Hey Edgeman. Ive been through Dayton alot. I usually fly my heli's out in the bowl behind the casino here in fergully, else at Tiger Field. Thanks for the prop tip. I had a 14-8 on it but with only 3/4 inch of clearance it was too close for my rookie thumbs. I didnt think of larger wheels!
Whenever this weather breaks lets get some coffee and some nitro and break my balsa into little pieces! I will bring the heli to survey the crash site.
