I would be very happy to have you help me. Right now though i am getting a parkflyer just to be safe, but maybe you could help me with that, so on my first flight i dont go crashing it into the ground. Later though, when i get the p51 i could definetly use a trainer. Thanks a lot. we'll be in touch

Glad to help with either. Not all park flyers are great first planes, so ask around before you buy. Or you can contact me and I'll go with you shopping, always like spending other people's money .

Had a friend that thought a Park Flyer Corsair was a great plane, but he had never flown before and the entire first flight last 3 seconds and wound up with a busted plane!

If you are available let me know and I will take you up with a trainer on a buddy box, total initial investment to you $0. The AMA has a introductory flight program to help newcomers like yourself get started on the right foot.

Whether you fly in the park or the field, go to the AMA site (www.modelaircraft.org) and join up to get insured for anything that happens!

See you at the field.

Joe

I know it doesnt sound too exciting but the Hobbyzone Super Cub is a great trainer for anyone... It may seem a bit cheesy but it was rated this years best trainer and is fairly cheap... It has the anti crash technology (Only if your high enough). I know a few buddies that are well experienced flyers that have these just for fun, ones that they have upgraded and have left stock... And if you trash it they have all replacement parts for it (well we do at Schaefer's Hobby Shop) and they are CHEAP!!

I just joined the Spirits this year. Awesome flying site. Can't wait to meet some of the guys there. I was out there late Sunday with a 50cc Yak. Had a blast.

Really. Could you like let me fly a trainger that like doesnt even belong to me? i have heard about that andthats what i would like to do. i think thats the smart move. I would like that a lot before any purchases of planes. How much does the ama license cost? isnt it like 25$ for beginners? Thanks a lot.

Yeah, the videos for it, and all the responses from it ive heard have been good. I think i might just get that, and sort of take it to the limit. But, i dont know.
