First post I build and fly giant model aircraft of the scale persuasion.
I have one aerobat, an old Ace Extra 230 that was severely bashed to get it into correct planform and control configuration. It's a mule airframe used only for breaking in engines destined for multi-engine airframes. It spends it's working life doing Cuban 8s and touch-and-gos.
I joined this venue to follow the discussion regarding the Futaba FASST heat issue because I bought the TM-8/R608FS setup for my existing 9ZAS WC II. I'm enamored of the notion that spread spectrum may be the ultimate defense against Joe Dingbat who never will have grasped the notion that he's not the only person who has a transmitter on a given 72 MHz channel.
The FASST "heat" thread has been reported in a number of forums, not the least of which is RC Scale Builder. I followed a link posted there to get here. |
