Hi everyone,
Like others in this great hobby of ours I am new to talking to people via a computer so forgive me if I make the odd "fopar". (I tend to prefer talking face to face but with our hobby being an international one I guess this is not always a viable option.) As for a bit about me well I first started as a kid after pestering my parents for a modelling magazine. I saw what looked like a plane built from copper wire and glad-wrap. (Food wrap) Little did I know that these were actually indoor flight models of an extremely light nature. However I did build one out of what I said and my father said that if I could get it to fly then I could have a control line model for Christmas. Well, you guessed it, come hell or high water that plane was destined to fly and it did. Not that great mind you but it flew nontheless so come Christmas that year I was presented with my first control line hurricane kit with motor and steel lines and now 35 years later I find myself with more models than I have room for and a love for this hobby which just wont quit. Look forward to talking to you at some stage,
Kindest regards,
Les
