Help! Hi from DownUnder / New to Flying Giants

Hi all,

I have been flying ok for some time now and would like to get into the bigger stuff.
My excuse is that 'bigger flies better' but I am experiencing problems explaining that to my wife!
I have purchased a YAK54 (1.8m = 70") with a DZY26cc and an Extra 330 (2m = 78") with some 43cc petrol engine. I got the planes quite cheaply and am not in a rush to get them going. I have too many others to fly to pieces first.

In the meantime I am looking around for suitable servos for my 'Giants' and noticed that there are so many different types (digital, analog), speeds, weights and of course torque values.
What servo does one need to comfortably and reliably fly a 1.8 to 2m plane? I am not into competitions or anything like that. Just mucking around.
What other setups do I need to consider, ie ganging of servos etc????? So far I have had Hitec servos and never had one fail! I have been looking at HS5645 and HS5895. Would those be good enough?
Thanks for your advice. Will try to post some pictures soon.
Jo
