Austin - You might get some good advice here on the Giants, if not, there's a very active thread on RCGroups.com in the electric 3D forum about the PA. I think we can say that now, b/c RCGroups and FG are part of the same "family" now. The PA plane *can* definitely be flown without rock, as a design, but that info is not very helpful to you since yours is rocking and you've tried several fixes. The first question I'll ask is: Are you flying the harrier with the elevator stick held all the way back and playing with the power to get AOA? Or are you actively flying the elevator? I ask because: Some airplanes have a fairly narrow range of angle of attack/elevator throw/power combination that translates into a rock-free harrier. As an example, the Fliton Inspire 60 has an excellent, rock-free harrier in the stock configuration (and nearly anyone can make it happen) but, if you deepen the bevel on the elevator to get more throw (I wanted tighter waterfalls) you go past a critical point and it rocks like crazy until you let off of some elevator. We find that many pilots are holding full elevator in a parachute and then, to transition into harrier, try to just add power. This usually results in crazy wing rocking on otherwise good airplanes. Better technique is to consciously let off 1/2 or even more elevator as you transition, add power, and add some of the elevator back as needed. Also, there are a couple of guys who post on RCG who have published some bad-ass video of themselves flying this airplane, and couple more here on FG. THEY are the guys I'd be listening to. With so much conflicting advice being thrown around on these internet forums, I find real 3D video evidence to be a great way to separate the experts from the posers. Hope some of that helps.
