Default Hello from New Orleans Area

Hello new to Flying Giants. Waiting for my first 50cc plane to arrive. I'm enjoying going through the forums, deciding on what motor I will use.

DA 50... you won't be disappointed... Been running one in my 50cc WH Edge for 2 years now with no issues.. DA is the only way to go when it comes to reliability and great service!!!

Hi N Edge -What aircraft do you have coming?
My first was the SD MOdels Extra 260. Still flying after three or so years. Never regretted the set ups either!

Oops posted on wrong video forum.

I 've ordered the new Wild Hare 88" Edge 540 with the Hempel Scheme. I've heard that the DA 50 is an excellent engine. Being a man of mild to moderate means I am also considering other possibilities, such as the DL 50 or the TOC 53. I have friends with both, all loving them. Just haven't decided yet. Still weighing the pros and cons of each

Excellent I'll bet!
I could not find a "Hemple scheme" on the WH website.
Dittos on the engine choice issues. Couple flying buds own DL, and I own 2- DA's (on canisters), and no bad mouthing the ownership that I have heard or read on either one yet.

FWIW-My next will be the DL.

Put a DL-50 in it from DLUSA and you'll never be sorry. Run a Vess 23A on it.

Here is a pic of mine.... Was a great starterfor me when I was getting into GIANT SCALE. You'll love it, just set the CG back a little further for 3D. Heck maybe I can come out to the feild in New Orleans, when I get back home I'm sure I'll be making a few trips to Lafayette to visit my folks. Take Care

Sure youll love it the Edge!!
