Hello all! I got back into the hobby a few months ago. I am currently flying an 85" QQ Yak 54 with a DA 50R. I love this plane...!!!
Have fun and be safe!

Welcome William, Glad to have you as a member. It looks like you have been here for a little while so I'm sure that you have had a chance to look around and get the feel for the site.

I'm glad that you are happy with your plane, I have heard good things about that airframe. How long were you out of the hobby? I was out of it about 20 years myself. When I got back in it was like a totally different world. The changes were way beyond anything I had expected. But with the help of this site and some of the publications out there I have started to get caught up.

Again welcome to the Giants family.

Hi William, I'm down under and have just got my QQ 85 inch in the air. I fly pattern over here in Aus with 2 composite revolution pro's and have just started flying the IMAC sequences. I have only been flying 3 years and I am hooked big time. Love the new yak though, It's great to get away from the messy expensive glow fuel and loads of fun to fly. MY DA hasn't run in yet and I havn't mixed any Ams oil yet, they tell me it will pull better then. Take a look at the Giants down under thread if you have some time, I am usually hanging around there trying to pick up any hints I can. How did you set yours up in relation to CG etc. Have you got any pics with the cown off?
Cheers, Cookie
