Welcome to a new member

Hello everyone,

My name is Jim and I have been here for a while. I, like JeeUm could use an intervention for my hobby addiction, I just hope it does not help. Great forum have really enjoyed reading and learning. However, that is NOT the reason for this post.

My post is to welcome a new member I found in the member search feature of the site! Pilot'sWyfe is the name of this new member. Her name is Mel and she is from Frederick, Maryland. She does not fly.......yet . She has developed an interest in the hobby and I know she is lurking here, reading and learning more about this great hobby. I have it on a good source that she is learning to read Aresti symbols and is picking up the jargon of flying very quickly. She may even be willing to serve as a caller for an aspiring newbie to IMAC in the coming year.

She is my lovely wife!

Welcome sweetheart, and thanks for your support in my time of addiction. I hope it is a lifelong "struggle" and you enjoy it even half as much as I do!

A husband and wife team!!! That's awesome!!! I hope the addiction hits here as hard as you, though, I'm also hoping you have a great job or she works, this could get expensive

Good to see another female on board with all these guys. Learning Aresti is easy--I know you'll get it!!! Scribing helps a lot when you are trying to learn it and calling helps even more. I scribe, call and judge--I've become busier at these events than my husband--so fair warning--don't get too good at it!!!

Welcome Mel, great to have you here. You don't need another sim, all you have to do is tell Jim the sim is yours to use whenever you want. When that doesn't work, just cut him off
